Position Overview
LAM is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the planning, creation, and execution of dynamic social media campaigns across multiple platforms. This role is perfect for someone who loves shaping brand voice, analyzing performance metrics, and staying ahead of trends to keep audiences engaged and informed.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing and organizational goals.
- Content Creation: Produce and oversee engaging content—including graphics, short videos, and copy—that elevates our brand and drives engagement.
- Community Management: Monitor and respond to audience interactions, fostering meaningful connections with followers and member associations.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and recommend adjustments to improve reach and engagement.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and industry news to keep our approach fresh and relevant.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Director and cross-departmental teams to support campaigns, events, and association initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong, professional communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.) for a brand or organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and research skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Graphic design and basic photo/video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred).
- Data-driven mindset with experience interpreting analytics to guide strategy.
Preferred
- Experience with paid social campaigns and/or community management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Familiarity with basic video production and editing. (e.g., CapCut, Premier)
Location & Hours
- Full-time
- Remote if you live 45+ minutes from Dothan, AL
- In-office required if local; 1 remote day/week possible based on role
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT
