Event Policies & Terms of Participation 

NTL Events 

NTL Events is committed to producing exceptional educational and networking experiences for accomplished legal and medical professionals nationwide. To ensure a professional, secure, and high-quality environment for all participants, the following policies apply to all NTL conferences, summits, forums, and hosted events. 

By registering for and attending any NTL Event, you agree to the following terms and conditions. 

 

Registration, Cancellations & Transfers 

Cancellations 

  • Cancellations received at least 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund, less a 3% processing fee. 
  • Cancellations received within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. 

Ticket Transfers 

  • Ticket transfers between individuals are permitted up to 15 days prior to the event 
  • Ticket transfers to a future NTL event are permitted until the event officially begins. 
  • Once the event has begun, all transfers are strictly prohibited. 

On-Site Registrations 

All on-site ticket purchases are non-refundable. 

 

Hotel Booking Policy 

Discounted hotel room blocks are reserved exclusively for registered NTL event attendees. 

  • Individuals who reserve a hotel room within the NTL room block must maintain an active, paid conference registration. 
  • NTL Events reserves the right to cancel hotel reservations made within the official room block if the individual does not have a valid event ticket. 
  • If a conference registration is canceled, the associated hotel reservation will also be subject to cancellation. 
  • Attendees are responsible for complying with all hotel policies, including payment terms and cancellation deadlines established by the property. 

This policy ensures that discounted accommodations remain available for confirmed conference participants and helps NTL Events meet contractual obligations with host venues. 

 

Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability 

By registering, you acknowledge and agree that the conference organizers, hosts, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, sponsors, venues, and affiliated entities are not responsible for incidents or events occurring outside their direct control. 

NTL, NTL Events, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, sponsors, venues, and affiliated entities are not responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the event. 

 

Code of Conduct & Professional Standards 

NTL Events are professional environments designed to promote excellence, collegiality, and leadership within the trial bar. 

As a condition of participation: 

  • No weapons of any kind are permitted on conference premises. 
  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. 
  • Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, behavior based on sex, race, national origin, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. 
  • Attendees must behave respectfully toward speakers, sponsors, staff, venue personnel, and fellow attendees. 

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with our professional standards. 

Any violation of these policies may result in: 

  • Immediate removal from the event without refund 
  • Revocation of future participation privileges 
  • Additional action as deemed appropriate by NTL Events 

 

Badge & Credentialing Policy 

For security and professionalism: 

  • All attendees must wear their official event badge at all times. 
  • Guests must also be properly registered and display badges. 
  • Individuals without credentials may be denied access to event functions. 

 

Photography, Video & Media Release 

You agree that by attending an NTL event, you consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed. These materials may be used by NTL Events for promotional, marketing, educational, and archival purposes in print, digital, and social media formats without compensation. 

 

CLE Policy 

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits are not guaranteed. 

To be eligible for CLE credit: 

  • You must purchase an Attorney ticket. 
  • You must check in at registration. 
  • You must complete and submit all required CLE documentation. 

Final approval of CLE credit is subject to applicable state accreditation guidelines. 

 

Event Modifications & Force Majeure 

NTL Events reserves the right to modify event programming, speakers, venue, dates, or format as necessary. 

In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, refunds will be provided. Additional costs incurred by attendees (including travel or lodging) are not the responsibility of NTL, NTL Events, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, sponsors, venues, and affiliated entities. 

 

Data & Communications 

Your registration information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you agree to receive event-related communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. 

 

Agreement to Terms 

By completing your registration and attending an NTL event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these policies and standards. 

We appreciate your commitment to maintaining the professionalism and high standards that define NTL Events.
