Social Media Coordinator/Article Curator

Legal Associations Management (LAM) is a service and technology company that manages multiple professional associations using proven systems and processes to help ease the operational burdens that associations face. Our staff utilizes specific technologies to produce and analyze data in order to make decisions about growing and maintaining our customers' associations, while continuously seeking out new opportunities for company growth.

Position Objectives:

The LAM team is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator/Article Curator that will be responsible for collaborating with the Marketing Director and other members of the marketing team to compose and create compelling social media content that resonates with our audience while supporting marketing strategy and pursuing organizational goals. This position will also be responsible for monitoring trending news topics and curating articles for our daily newsletter.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with marketing team members to create powerful content that engages audiences and supports marketing strategy across multiple social media platforms
  • Curating engaging content for increasing audience engagement, mobilizing marketing plans, and reaching organizational goals
  • Developing and maintaining a social media calendar in coordination with Marketing Director and other department leaders
  • Monitor trending news stories on a daily basis 
  • Curate trending articles for our daily newsletter 
  • Tracking key social media performance analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and reporting results to Marketing Director and other department leaders
  • Identifying opportunities for improving content and marketing strategies while making continual adjustments as needed for meeting and exceeding goals

Qualifications:

  • Strong, professional communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, collaborative team environment
  • Discipline for growth 
  • Extremely organized with fundamental research skills
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines assigned by Marketing Director
  • Graphic creation and photo editing skills - an eye for design
  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about developing and implementing captivating, unique content strategies and determined to satisfy and exceed business goals

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience with photo editing and/or video editing
  • Proficient in graphic design software such as: Adobe Photoshop or Canva

Compensation:

  • Based on experience
