Marketing Project Manager

We’re Hiring for a Marketing Project Manager.

The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the Marketing Director and Leadership team to oversee the fulfillment of large internal and external projects. This person will act as the main liaison between the Marketing, Technology, Sales, and Events team. 

Many general job activities are outlined below, but specific job responsibilities will vary based on the project or assignment. Certain projects will require a high degree of focus and communication with multiple parties, while other projects may only involve basic task management and regular reporting. Additionally, some responsibilities will focus on ongoing internal activity, which will require continued daily monitoring and communication with internal team members across multiple projects at once. In this way, the organization and communication skills of the Marketing Project Manager will be key to the success of many LAM projects and activities.

Job Overview

  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor projects and campaigns. They are responsible for setting project goals, timelines, budgets, and ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed successfully.
  • Team Leadership: Marketing Project Managers often lead cross-functional teams, including designers, copywriters, and other marketing specialists. They delegate tasks, coordinate team efforts, and ensure everyone is working towards the project's objectives.
  • Decision-Making: They have decision-making authority when it comes to project-related choices, such as strategy adjustments, resource allocation, and budget reallocation.
  • Client or Stakeholder Interaction: The Marketing Project Managers may also interact directly with clients or stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Strategic Planning: They contribute to the strategic planning of marketing initiatives and campaigns, aligning them with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Liaison
    • Act as the liaison for internal and external projects as assigned. This will involve regular communication with department heads and project leads to report progress and request needed information. 
    • Filter incoming Marketing tasks from project leads or other LAM employees to ensure that the request can be fulfilled and that all of the proper information has been provided for the task to be completed.
    • Be the lead on gathering any missing information from an assigned task prior to assigning out to any Marketing team members. 
  • Monitor and Oversee
    • Oversee the day-to-day task flow of general incoming requests (both internal and external). This will involve familiarity with ClickUp (or similar task management system).
    • Oversee the quality and progress of assigned tasks to ensure they are being completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Meeting and Reporting
    • Meet with the Marketing Director and Leadership team regularly to provide updates on any outstanding projects/tasks
    • Work with internal and external project leads to provide daily/weekly updates as needed
    • Schedule and lead weekly calls with internal and external clients to provide progress updates, gather information, discuss upcoming projects, etc. 
    • Provide weekly and monthly reporting to internal and external clients as needed. 

Compensation: 

Based upon experience.
