Event Policies & Terms of Participation 

NTL Events 

NTL Events is committed to producing exceptional educational and networking experiences for accomplished legal and medical professionals nationwide. To ensure a professional, secure, and high-quality environment for all participants, the following policies apply to all NTL conferences, summits, forums, and hosted events. 

By registering for and attending any NTL Event, you agree to the following terms and conditions. 

Registration, Cancellations & Transfers 

Cancellations 

• Cancellations received at least 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund, less a 3% processing fee. 

• Cancellations received within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. 

Ticket Transfers 

• Ticket transfers between individuals are permitted up to 15 days prior to the event 

• Ticket transfers to a future NTL event are permitted until the event officially begins. 

• Once the event has begun, all transfers are strictly prohibited. 

On-Site Registrations 

All on-site ticket purchases are non-refundable.  

Hotel Booking Policy 

Discounted hotel room blocks are reserved exclusively for registered NTL event attendees. 

• Individuals who reserve a hotel room within the NTL room block must maintain an active, paid conference registration. 

• NTL Events reserves the right to cancel hotel reservations made within the official room block if the individual does not have a valid event ticket. 

• If a conference registration is canceled, the associated hotel reservation will also be subject to cancellation. 

• Attendees are responsible for complying with all hotel policies, including payment terms and cancellation deadlines established by the property. 

This policy ensures that discounted accommodations remain available for confirmed conference participants and helps NTL Events meet contractual obligations with host venues. 

Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability 

By registering, you acknowledge and agree that the conference organizers, hosts, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, sponsors, venues, and affiliated entities are not responsible for incidents or events occurring outside their direct control. 

NTL, NTL Events, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, sponsors, venues, and affiliated entities are not responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the event. 

Code of Conduct & Professional Standards 

NTL Events are professional environments designed to promote excellence, collegiality, and leadership within the trial bar. 

As a condition of participation: 

• No weapons of any kind are permitted on conference premises. 

• Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. 

• Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, behavior based on sex, race, national origin, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. 

• Attendees must behave respectfully toward speakers, sponsors, staff, venue personnel, and fellow attendees. 

• Attendees under the age of 17 may not be left unattended on conference premises at any time. A responsible adult must accompany minors throughout all event areas and functions. 

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with our professional standards. 

Any violation of these policies may result in: 

• Immediate removal from the event without refund 

• Revocation of future participation privileges 

• Additional action as deemed appropriate by NTL Events 

Badge & Credentialing Policy 

For security and professionalism: 

• All attendees must wear their official event badge at all times. 

• Guests must also be properly registered and display badges. 

• Individuals without credentials may be denied access to event functions. 

• Badges are non-transferable. Sharing badges between individuals is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the event without refund.

• Badge reprints require valid government-issued photo ID. Replacement badges will not be issued without identity verification.

Guest Badge Policy Reminder

Guests may visit conference areas and attend networking events with vendors, but may not work a vendor booth or promote any company. Badges will display the guest's name and ticket type only — no company name will be printed. Please note that guests are not eligible for separate hotel reservations.

Photography, Video & Media Release 

You agree that by attending an NTL event, you consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed. These materials may be used by NTL Events for promotional, marketing, educational, and archival purposes in print, digital, and social media formats without compensation. 

CLE Policy 

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits are not guaranteed. 

To be eligible for CLE credit: 

• You must purchase an Attorney ticket. 

• You must check in at registration. 

• You must complete and submit all required CLE documentation. 

Final approval of CLE credit is subject to applicable state accreditation guidelines. 

Pricing Errors & Technical Inaccuracies

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, technical inaccuracies, or omissions at any time, including after a registration or order has been submitted. In the event that a ticket or product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, technical malfunction, or system error, we reserve the right to cancel, adjust, or refuse any registrations or orders placed at the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed or payment has been processed.

If your registration is affected by a pricing error, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and provide you with the option to either complete your registration at the correct price or cancel your registration for a full refund of any amount paid. We are not obligated to honor incorrect prices and shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or inconvenience resulting from such errors.

By completing a registration or purchase for any NTL event, you acknowledge that prices are subject to correction in the event of an error and that your registration is not confirmed until full payment at the correct price has been received and verified.

Event Modifications & Force Majeure 

NTL Events reserves the right to modify event programming, speakers, venue, dates, or format as necessary. 

In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, refunds will be provided. Additional costs incurred by attendees (including travel or lodging) are not the responsibility of NTL, NTL Events, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, sponsors, venues, and affiliated entities. 

Data & Communications 

Your registration information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you agree to receive event-related communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. 

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions, and any disputes arising out of or related to any NTL event registration, purchase, or attendance, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Agreement to Terms 

By completing your registration and attending an NTL event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these policies and standards. 

We appreciate your commitment to maintaining the professionalism and high standards that define NTL Events.
